01About this policy
This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to ErtiNote bought from ErtiCloud, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia (“we”, “us”), through our online reseller Paddle. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Purchases made in an app store are covered by the rules of that app store, as described below.
02Our reseller Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles returns. Refunds are issued by Paddle, in the currency and to the payment method used for the purchase. The Paddle Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
03Free trials
A free trial costs nothing. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. If you do not cancel, the subscription starts at the end of the trial and the first payment is taken; the 14-day money-back guarantee below applies to that payment.
0414-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with ErtiNote, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the first payment for a subscription. You do not need to give a reason. The 14 days start on the day the payment is taken; for a subscription that started with a free trial, on the day of the first payment after the trial.
The refund covers the full amount you paid, including taxes. Once the refund is issued, the subscription is cancelled and the paid features are no longer available.
The guarantee applies to your first paid subscription to each app. If you buy again after a refund, we consider refund requests for the new purchase individually, without limiting your statutory rights.
05Renewals and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the link in your Paddle receipt email, at paddle.net or by writing to us at contact@ertinote.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no further payments are taken.
Renewal payments are not refunded, and unused parts of a billing period are not refunded after cancellation, except in the cases below or where the law requires a refund. If you were charged for a renewal that you did not intend, contact us promptly: we review such requests individually.
06When we always refund
Regardless of the time limits above, we refund:
- a duplicate payment or a payment taken in error;
- a payment taken after you cancelled, because of an error on our side or on Paddle’s side;
- a payment that you did not authorise, once this is confirmed;
- a paid feature that does not work as described, if we cannot fix the problem within a reasonable time — in full or in proportion to the affected period, as the law provides.
07How to request a refund
Write to us at contact@ertinote.com or contact Paddle through paddle.net. Please include the email address used for the purchase and the order number from your receipt, so that we can find your order quickly.
We aim to answer refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. When the money reaches your account depends on your bank or card issuer and usually takes several business days.
We do not charge any fee for a refund. We are not responsible for fees or exchange rate differences charged by your bank or card issuer.
08Purchases in app stores
If you bought a subscription inside an app downloaded from an app store, such as the Apple App Store, the purchase was made from the app store operator. Refunds for such purchases are decided by the app store under its own rules, and you need to request them from the app store — for Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds for app store purchases ourselves.
09Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a payment, please contact us or Paddle before disputing it with your bank; we can usually resolve it faster. While a chargeback is being reviewed, the subscription may be suspended.
10Misuse
We may refuse a refund where there is clear evidence of fraud or misuse of this policy, for example repeated purchases followed by refunds, to the extent the law allows. This never limits your statutory rights.
11Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to your rights under mandatory consumer law and does not limit them. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from online contracts; for digital services that start immediately at your express request, it may end once the service has started. Our 14-day money-back guarantee gives you a full refund of your first payment within 14 days in any case. You also keep your rights if a paid feature is faulty or not as described.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. A payment is covered by the version in force on the day the payment was made; changes never apply retroactively to payments already made.
